2022 Lexus NX Reviews at a Glance
The Lexus NX reviews highlight different things that make this luxury SUV such a winner for Moorestown. Some talk about the luxury, others talk about the power, others yet talk about the style. Here’s our highlight reel of the 2022 Lexus NX 300 reviews:
U.S. News and World Report: “Yes, the redesigned Lexus NX is a good luxury compact SUV. The NX has a spacious and premium interior with comfy seats, a relatively easy-to-use infotainment system, and a wealth of active safety features. It feels agile yet sure-footed on the open road, and it delivers a smooth ride over bumps and dips. Engine options range from fuel-efficient (NX 250) to effervescent (NX 350).”
Car and Driver: “After sitting back and watching the rest of the luxury-subcompact SUV scene mature over the past few years, the Lexus NX is getting back in the game with a modernization of its own. The 2022 model is completely new and its styling is more streamlined than the outgoing generation’s, featuring LED headlamps and a windshield with a more aggressive rake. Although the NX shares its chassis and powertrains with the Toyota RAV4, the Lexus more closely resembles the brand’s small UX crossover, albeit taller and wider. Lexus offers the 2022 model with two different gasoline-powered engines and also two different hybrids, one of which is a plug-in. The freshly minted 2022 NX poses a bigger threat to rival small luxury-brand SUVs—namely the Audi Q3, the BMW X1, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA-class—than its predecessor did.”
MotorTrend: “Finally, Lexus is introducing a second generation of its compact SUV, the NX. (The first-gen model debuted way back in 2015 and we were ready for a new one.) Now sharing a platform with the current Toyota RAV4, the 2022 NX gains a plug-in hybrid variant and debuts a new turbocharged engine. Plus, it ditches the much-maligned touchpad infotainment controller for a sleeker touchscreen setup. This should be the best NX yet, and it’ll square off against other compact luxury SUVs including the Acura RDX, Volvo XC60, and Lincoln Corsair.”
Kelley Blue Book: “With the all-new 2022 NX, Lexus has not only doubled down on the choice of powertrains it is offering buyers, but is also doubling down on its hybrid variants. Whereas you could only get the prior NX with either a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine or as a hybrid, this new model gives you a choice of four powertrains, two of which are hybrids.”
